Although the company already had an intranet, the underlying CMS did not meet requirements. Important messages often reached employees only after a delay, if at all. The existing stationary computers in the plants were not used consistently, and information management was time-consuming. The goal was to create a modern and user-friendly solution that would optimize the flow of information and reduce administrative overhead.
The core requirements for the new system:
Employees should be able to access the latest news and strategic updates directly at the information stations in the production halls without time-consuming log-in processes. For employees who work on their own computers, single sign-on (SSO) enables seamless access via their ARGO-HYTOS account without the need for an additional log-in.
The marketing department needs a platform that allows them to easily control, update and distribute content across locations.
Certain information, especially for executives, should only be available to the relevant groups of people through flexible access control.

The project began with a thorough analysis of the existing infrastructure at the ARGO-HYTOS production sites. The computer terminals already in place provided a solid technical basis, but were not used for centralized, efficient information distribution.
After carefully evaluating various systems, the decision was made to use HubSpot. The platform impressed with its flexibility and, above all, its uncomplicated, centralized management. Content can be intuitively maintained, managed across locations and, if necessary, immediately updated – without complex IT processes or additional administrative effort. Particularly valuable is the option of group-based access control: while general company information is freely accessible to all employees, confidential content is automatically distributed to the respective management levels.
The implementation was carried out in close coordination with the IT teams of ARGO-HYTOS. The existing terminals in the production halls were defined as central access points and seamlessly integrated into the HubSpot platform. The system was configured so that employees can access company news and strategic updates directly without additional login processes. At the same time, flexible access control ensures that sensitive information is only available to the intended groups of people.
The result is a seamlessly integrated intranet that not only optimizes the flow of information within the production plants, but also significantly simplifies administration. With HubSpot, ARGO-HYTOS now has a solution that ensures communication and information.
With the introduction of the new intranet, ARGO-HYTOS has experienced a noticeable change in internal communication. Employees in the international manufacturing plants now have instant access to all relevant company information – directly via the computer terminals installed in the production halls. Long distances to obtain information or delayed messages are a thing of the past. News, strategic updates and important announcements are available to all employees at all times, which not only makes their daily work easier, but also noticeably increases efficiency in the production process.
Central administration via HubSpot has significantly simplified the work of the marketing department. Content can now be updated and managed across locations with just a few clicks, without the need for complex processes or additional effort. This not only saves time, but also creates space for more important tasks.
The new intranet solution has not only drastically reduced administrative effort, but has also strengthened the sense of transparency and cohesion within the company.
