MUNICIPALITY BIRMENSTORF REALIZES USER-FRIENDLY WEB RELAUNCH WITH COMMUNITYNET™

A grand vista welcomes visitors of the new web solution of the municipality Birmenstorf. A 360 degree video shows Birmenstorf and the surrounding landscape from above. Intuitive navigation elements allow users to explore the municipality whichever way they want.

The online portal of the municipality offers much more than a beautiful view: in addition to extensive information about community life, an online counter gives users access to a wide range of community regulations and other services.

Apart from the well-structured depth of information, a range of services and the eye-catcher on the start page, the community portal also has a strong technological backbone. It was built with the latest version of the modular, database-based Internet solution CommunityNet™, which was developed by W4 in cooperation with the "Arbeitsgruppe Internet", a subgroup of the community writers' association of the district of Baden. True to the motto "from municipalities for municipalities", the continuously developed solution has been used by Swiss municipalities since 2000. The latest version offers municipalities greater freedom of design with regard to the realization of their individual design. In addition, CommunitiesNet™ pages are always optimized for mobile use. Whether desktop, tablet or smartphone - the community portal is always displayed in an ideal, user-friendly way.
