ABOUT The Client:

just-medical! was founded in 2000 as a portal for Healthcare Professionals and has established itself as the one-stop portal for the huge and demanding healthcare sector in Switzerland through the acquisition of other portals such as Medinside and Docinside. With a dedicated team of highly qualified experts, the company offers a wide range of services and channels, including the popular platforms med-congress, med-inside, med-jobs, med-drugs, med-report, and med-cases. Each of these platforms is designed to meet a specific need in the healthcare industry and provide high-quality content and medical information. Thanks to med-congress, for example, subscribers never miss an exciting event in the medical field ... With med-cases, on the other hand, doctors can complete CME-certified continuing education ... free of time and place thanks to our e-learning platform.

In January 2022, W4 took over just-medical!. The diagnosis: an impressive and potentially rich portfolio of platforms – but unfortunately showing signs of advanced age.

Thanks to W4's technical expertise in design and web development, the maintenance effort of just-medical!'s digital platforms has already been reduced, and internal processes have also been optimized.

The next logical step was just-medical!'s digital presence – because although the website was still functional, the design and technology used no longer met current standards.

The Challenge:

When W4 took over responsibility in January 2022, one thing was clear: the website required not a cosmetic surgeon, but a comprehensive digital rehabilitation strategy. The challenges were versatile:

  • Multilingualism with Ease: The website had to shine in four languages, and the Content Management System (CMS) should make maintenance as easy as a child's play.
  • Seamless Integration: The existing login portals of the various platforms had to be implanted into a new body – without transplantation rejection reactions.
  • User-Friendliness as Top Priority: The new website should not only look good but also feel good, both for just-medical! employees and end-users.

The Solution:

After intensive analysis, W4 opted for an approach based on modern technology and innovative solutions:

  • HubSpot as the Heart: HubSpot's CMS proved to be the ideal choice to create a user-friendly interface and ensure the efficient maintenance of content and reports via HubDB (the internal HubSpot database).
  • Iframe as a Surgical Instrument: For the seamless integration of the login portals, W4 relied on Iframe technology, an elegant solution that combines security and user-friendliness.

The result exceeded all expectations:
