Website relaunch with Typo3

Spektrum Bauelemente is a subsidiary of the Albon Group and specialises in complex product solutions with a wide range of services in the field of glass, construction elements and roof systems. The product range includes windows, doors, canopies as well as summer and winter gardens from their own product line, all of them custom-made. The customer's previous website was outdated and could no longer be transferred to a new system. Therefore W4 realised the complete website relaunch using Typo3 and transferred the customer’s complex product range to the new environment.

The Challenge

The greatest difficulty in the relaunch was to transfer the entire product catalogue, including all structures beneath, to a new system. After intensive consultation, the customer decided on a Typo3 content management system because the backend is easy to use and maintain. The customer took over the design as well as the maintenance of the product database during the course of the relaunch process. W4 integrated Google Analytics for the new website.
